Welcome and thank you for considering me to be part of your healing journey. My name is Christine. I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and board-approved supervisor. I work collaboratively with individuals, couples and families across the lifespan. Together we can explore practical approaches to navigate challenges within our control, and cultivate intuitive resilience to cope with the challenges outside of our control.
How I Work
I believe that you are the expert of your own lived experience. You have lived in your body for your whole life, and that is one of the most valuable assets that you bring into the therapy space. You may have developed a lot of coping mechanisms to avoid being in your body, and these coping mechanisms may no longer be serving you.
My goal is to collaborate with you to find ways to connect with your intuitive wisdom and build a life centered on the practice of your values.
For some this might mean creating routines that promote your neurodivergence as strength. For others, it might include exploring Polyvagal theory and incorporating various mindfulness practices.
Not quite sure how this applies to you? – Let’s talk about that too! Psychoeducation is an important part of how we understand and validate our own experiences.
What Sets Me Apart As a Therapist?
I have considerable experience and knowledge of mental health systems and resources. This means that I can help connect you with available resources, provide education on navigating systems, and I am dedicated to helping you find the best care and services for your needs, even if that isn’t with me. I provide a calm, confident and structured space to explore your dreams, fears, and emotions. I am also continually striving to improve my use of therapeutic humor.
