Hi there! My name is Hilary Breedon. I am a board certified psychiatric nurse practitioner. While my education took place in the Midwest, the past several years I practiced in Southern California. During my time spent outside of the Midwest, I was able to work with a wide variety of clients. My experience with diverse populations helped me become more well-rounded as a provider. I am also passionate about education and continue to work towards continuing education to stay up to date on best practices. Whether you’re facing life challenges or seeking personal growth, my goal is to partner with you in achieving your mental health objectives. Together, we can navigate the path toward healing and resilience.

How I Work

In our sessions together, my primary goal is to create a safe and supportive environment where you can openly express your thoughts and feelings. We start by checking in with how you have been and what you are currently experiencing. Together, we’ll identify short-term and long-term goals for your treatment. This collaborative approach ensures that our work is focused and meaningful.

My style is very laid-back and relaxed. I want you to feel comfortable to be vulnerable and open during our appointments. I’m committed to your growth and well-being, and I’m here to support you on your journey. Your experiences are valid, and I’m eager to be a part of the process.

What Sets Me Apart As a Therapist?

I often use humor to help break the ice and make difficult conversations feel a bit lighter. I’m attentive to the energy in the room and am comfortable navigating intense emotions, as I think those moments can lead to profound insights.

I’m well traveled, a Frenchie owner and I enjoy crocheting!
