Welcome! I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) and a generalist with specialty in treating traumas and life stressors.

Sometimes memories from our pasts can be peppered with sad, shameful, or otherwise difficult emotions. Even if parts of us know we have value, other parts of ourselves can’t shake that deep sense in our bodies that we are invisible, failures, or inadequate. As a result, sometimes we feel like our mind is at war with itself, there is chaos inside of us, or we feel out of control.

I am here to help guide you as you begin to make sense of the chaos. I will welcome all of you, encourage you, and teach you to tap into the courage, compassion, and calm within.

How I Work

I try to provide the type of therapy that best fits you. My biggest priority is that you feel safe, seen, heard, and valued in our sessions. Our genuine connection underlies your ability to explore yourself and your world with curiosity and gentleness. You and I will work together as partners to decide where to go and how to get there, and you will have control at every step.

I am a life-long learner, and I push myself to absorb the newest and most helpful strategies in the field of therapy. The more I learn, the more I can offer you! I use specialized trauma treatments (EMDR, parts work) to help you heal and move on from your past as quickly as possible, and I am adding new treatments to my practice every day. No matter what you’re looking for, we can get there together.

What Sets Me Apart As a Therapist?

I’m definitely not your standard ‘and how does that make you feel?’ therapist (although I will ask you how that makes you feel…) I would describe me as direct, transparent, authentic, and quirky. I show up physically and mentally every day, and I bring my whole self into every session. I’m also a challenger and an activator. I enjoy giving you opportunities to maximize and exceed yourself. I have a vision for who you can be, and I get excited about getting you there. I will definitely push you! And, I know you can handle it.
