Hi, I’m Katie and I’m glad you’re here!

I’m a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, and I’ve worked in the mental health field since 2005. I attended the University of Minnesota for undergrad and Argosy University for my graduate degree. I have extensive training in working with kids and families and practice from a trauma-informed lens. I help adults, parents, children, and families navigate life transitions, stress, anxiety, trauma, and relationship challenges. I’m especially passionate about supporting caregivers and helping them reconnect with themselves so they can show up with balance and joy. I love walking alongside people who feel burnt out or stuck and helping them create their comeback story-one filled with clarity, confidence, and a renewed sense of who they are meant to be.

How I Work

In session, I’ll help you slow down, breathe, and make sense of what has been heavy. We’ll focus on practical ways to find balance, insight, and peace again through reflection, humor, and real conversation.

I’m warm, real, and a little playful. I’m compassionate but honest, helping you grow without judgment. Clients often say I help them feel seen and at ease right away.

You don’t have to have it all figured out. I’ll walk alongside you as you discover your strength, confidence, and calm.

What Sets Me Apart As a Therapist?

I bring equal parts humor, heart, and honesty. I get to the root of things gently but quickly, creating space for real change. I love a good metaphor that somehow makes sense by the end of the session, and I’m known to laugh easily (often at myself). My goal is to make therapy feel like a comfortable conversation.
