Kayla Djonne, MSW, LICSW

Hi, I’m Kayla! I’m a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker with a master’s in social work from Capella University and a bachelor’s in criminology from the University of Minnesota Duluth. I work with teens, adults, and parents-especially those navigating the ups and downs of parenting, perinatal transitions, or major life changes.

As a mom of two, I understand how overwhelming it can feel to balance it all. My goal is to offer a space where you can exhale, reflect, and feel supported as you rediscover what works best for you.

How I Work

When life feels heavy or you’re stuck in old patterns, we’ll start by getting curious together about what’s actually going on underneath the surface. You and I will build on what’s already working while gently untangling what’s not. I’ll help you find new ways of coping that feel authentic and sustainable-not just another thing on your to-do list.

I’m all about creating a cozy, relaxed space where you can be yourself-soft lighting, no assigned seating, and plenty of space to breathe.Therapy with me is a space for honest conversation, self-discovery, and learning to show yourself the same compassion you offer everyone else.

What Sets Me Apart As a Therapist?

I laugh easily and welcome honest feedback about what’s working (or not) in therapy. I believe that being able to speak up in session is great practice for asking for what you need in everyday life. My style is warm, down-to-earth, and a little playful at times-because even the hard work of healing can feel human and real.
