Hi there! Nicki Vasquez here! I am an Independently Licensed Clinical Social Worker who provides psychodynamic psychotherapy to clients of all ages, greater than five years old. I specialize in working with adolescents, adults, families, and helping professionals as they navigate the challenges of their growing, changing lives. In my 10+ years experience as a social worker, I have had the opportunity to practice in educational, residential, and emergency care settings, which has allowed me to gain a unique understanding of psychology throughout the lifespan and a systems perspective. I live to build meaningful connections, and highly respect the opportunity I may have to get to know more about you, your interests, strengths, things that bring you joy, and to meet you exactly as you are in your journey.

How I Work

The first focus in our work together will be building a connection that is safe, trusting, and enthusiastic. I hope to help you identify your core values, beliefs, strengths, and needs, and utilize these aspects of yourself to their fullest potential to feel your absolute best. I will help you draw connections from your past to your current experiences, and gain confidence in showing up as your most authentic self in any scenario.

What Sets Me Apart As a Therapist?

You can count on me to always show up purely as myself, and to value any vulnerability that you bring to our sessions in the highest regard. I hope to create a warm, welcoming, relatable therapy space, in which you can let down your guard, and lean into areas of your wisdom that remain untapped. I see you as the expert in your own life and experience, and look forward to sharing our wisdom with each other. In session, you can expect honest, non-judgemental, direct, supportive, realistic feedback, high energy, and strong passion for our work together.
