Welcome! I am Becca and I am a licensed professional clinical counselor. I hold a Master’s in Counseling and Psychological Services from Saint Mary’s University. I am passionate about working with adults and adolescents who are seeking insight into how to improve daily emotions, manage stress, and navigate the difficult transitions of life.
I became a therapist because I am passionate about creating a space for others to feel supported and less alone through the difficult times. I have seen the tolls life can take on others and believe having just one person in your corner can make all the difference.
How I Work
Therapy can feel weird and awkward at times. I strive to create a space where you can feel comfortable and valued. I am confident that the impact of our therapeutic relationship will help you identify your own strengths. When you feel “stuck” in life, I believe it just means you are living in an ongoing pattern that you may struggle to see and change yourself. These patterns often relate to feelings, thoughts, and behaviors. I will work with you to help you understand, acknowledge, and transform these patterns. Change does not happen unless we do things differently!
What Sets Me Apart As a Therapist?
By nature I am a highly empathic person who tends to be sensitive to others’ emotions and energies. I believe when people are given the understanding and space to feel and grow, they will feel empowered to do so. I strive to create a space that allows others to feel safe, understood, empowered, and respected. I believe that as a therapist, it is my privilege to be trusted to hear your story and help you heal.
