I’m glad you’re here! If you’re exploring this page, it is likely because you are looking for therapy for either yourself or someone that you love. After experiencing transformative benefits from therapy myself, I decided to go into this profession with the hope of offering other people a similar experience to the one that I was lucky enough to have.

I have over five years of professional experience in this field, and mental wellness is my passion. I hold dual licenses as both a Master’s level Social Worker (MSW, LICSW) and an Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LADC) in the state of Minnesota. I will be a great fit for you if you are a working professional who struggles with issues like depression, anxiety, trauma, burnout, transitional stress, or addiction. I also enjoy working with teens struggling with these same concerns as well.

How I Work

I like to offer a hybrid approach to therapy. This means that I will give you plenty of time to talk and verbally process during our sessions, while also teaching you new tools and skills that will positively impact your life outside of session. It’s important to me that you walk away from our time together having gained more insight into how your mind works, so that you can continue to build upon the improvements that you make in therapy well after our work together is complete.

You may have heard that there are several different types of therapy, and navigating the many options and providers out there can be confusing (and overwhelming!) when first starting therapy. Fortunately, I am familiar with many of the therapeutic strategies out there, and I will gladly work with you to help you figure out what options might be best for treating your particular concerns.

What Sets Me Apart As a Therapist?

Generally speaking, I believe in getting results.  If we work together, my hope will always be to get you feeling better, more like yourself, and back out into the world as quickly as possible! I do not believe that everyone needs therapy, or that therapy needs to take a long time, and therefore my intention is always to streamline the therapeutic process for every client that I see, and help them recover quickly. I encourage you to schedule a free consultation call with me if you are interested in knowing more or determining if I might be the right fit for you. I would be happy to connect over the phone and answer any questions you might have!

Hey there! Congratulations to you on taking the first step into finding a therapist, whether it be for you or a loved one. I know that finding the right fit can be difficult at times, but I am glad you are here! I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker in Minnesota. I have experience working in schools, in homes, and outpatient clinics. I work with adolescents, young adults, adults, and families. Working with individuals from various backgrounds has allowed me to use multiple therapeutic models to provide culturally sensitive and trauma-informed care.

How I Work

I know that at times you can feel so alone in your struggles that you can’t find the words to describe your emotions. I want you to know that you have someone in your corner that is ready to support and guide you to answer those tough “why?” or “how?” questions. You may also find that sometimes you just need to vent and get things off your chest, and that’s okay too. We’re going to be real with each other, assess these problems, and come out stronger after every session.

What Sets Me Apart As a Therapist?

I bring a unique cultural understanding to my work as a therapist, and my own life experiences allow me to look at things from a perspective of genuine empathy. I am here to help you explore and discover new ways to cope with and manage your feelings. I want you to know that when you come into our sessions, whether it be virtually or in-person, you will not be judged. My goal is to make sure you’re comfortable telling me what’s on your mind and how we can work on making it more manageable together.
